Job summary

Petco in Arizona is hiring a Hospital Operations Manager to lead the hospital team, partner with veterinarians, and ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional client service while driving revenue and controlling costs.

You will supervise paraprofessional staff, schedule doctors, review P&L, and collaborate with store teams to deliver a seamless complete care experience, maintaining OSHA standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years? Actually minimum requirements include leadership experience and veterinary practice experience; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; veterinary setting preferred.
• Experience managing P&L or budgeting is desired.
• Ability to lead a team and drive revenue while maintaining high-quality patient care.
• OSHA standards knowledge and safety practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and patient care.
• Coordinate scheduling for veterinarians and staff with the Area Ops Manager as needed.
• Monitor inventory, invoicing, accounts receivable, and hospital finances.
• Collaborate with store teams to ensure seamless patient experiences.
• Ensure policy adherence and maintain OSHA standards and environment cleanliness.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff; manage performance and payroll considerations.
