You will manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, and revenue initiatives, while guiding a cohesive veterinary support team. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential to balance clinical excellence with financial performance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous experience in a veterinary practice or 2+ years of strong leadership experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions, delegate tasks and drive results with hospital partners.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor in emotional situations.
• Team player willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and client experience.
• Collaborate with veterinarians to foster a positive culture and cohesive team.
• Schedule daily functions of the practice, manage inventory, invoicing, and patient records.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance of paraprofessional staff with HR and leadership partners.
• Review financials monthly and work to increase revenue while controlling payroll costs.
• Coordinate with store teams to ensure seamless care across the Petco ecosystem.
• Ensure OSHA standards and a clean hospital environment.
