Job summary

Petco is seeking a Hospital Concierge for our Vetco Total Care hospital location. You will be the first and last point of contact for clients, delivering friendly service and coordinating appointments.

You will manage the phone, greet clients, assist with room readiness, and support staff to ensure a smooth patient and client experience. A high school diploma and 1 year in veterinary or customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience.
• Experience in veterinary practice preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and clients; monitor wait times and notify staff as needed.
• Participate in training of new staff and disseminate knowledge.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Confirm appointments by client’s preferred method (phone, email, text).
• Provide backup support to technical staff when needed.
