Petco is seeking a Hospital Concierge for our Vetco Total Care hospital. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer care to clients and patients, acting as the first and last contact in the hospital, and supporting the veterinary team to ensure a smooth, compassionate visit.

You will manage calls, bookings, and patient flow while maintaining a welcoming environment and upholding high standards of service and teamwork in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year experience in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be compassionate, sympathetic and professional.
• Exceptional telephone and computer skills; teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and patients by name; monitor wait times.
• Train new staff and disseminate knowledge as required.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked; assist in emergencies.
• Confirm appointments via client preferred method (phone, email, text).
• Provide backup support to technical staff as needed.
