Job summary

Petco is seeking a Hospital Concierge at its Vetco Total Care hospital to deliver exceptional customer care to clients and patients. The role serves as the first and last contact for clients, helping to foster a positive, efficient experience within the practice.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and supporting clinical staff. A high school diploma and strong communication/phone skills are required; experience in veterinary or customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Answer practice phone and route calls.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and manage waiting area and patient flow.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked; disinfect as needed.
• Confirm appointments via client’s preferred contact method.
• Provide backup support to technical staff as needed.
