Job summary

Petco is seeking a Hospital Concierge for our Vetco Total Care location in Seattle. You will be the first and last point of contact, delivering exceptional client and patient experiences while supporting a busy veterinary practice.

Responsibilities include phone triage, appointment scheduling, welcoming clients and pets, coordinating with clinical staff, and maintaining a clean, inviting reception area. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year in veterinary practice or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Compassionate and professional under pressure.
• Strong telephone and computer skills.
• Practice Management System experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer hospital phone and route calls.
• Maintain appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and notify staff by name.
• Monitor wait times and assist during peak times.
• Train new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Ensure waiting area is clean and stocked with supplies.
• Confirm appointments by client preferences.
