Petco is seeking a Hospital Concierge for our Vetco Total Care hospital to deliver exceptional client experiences and support the veterinary team. You will be the first and last point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth check-ins, accurate scheduling, and a welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in veterinary or customer-facing roles, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, adaptable demeanor to handle emotional situations

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and able to remain professional in emotional situations.
• Strong telephone and computer skills.
• Team player willing to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors by name and manage wait times.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked; disinfect as needed.
• Confirm appointments by client’s preferred method.
• Support technical staff with basic room loading and patient discharge.
