Requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year in a veterinary or customer-facing role, excellent communication, compassionate demeanor, and strong telephone/computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or a customer‑facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be compassionate and sympathetic and able to maintain a professional demeanor.
• Preferred: Experience using a Practice Management System.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and clients by name; manage wait times.
• Participate in training of new staff and share knowledge.
• Ensure waiting area is clean and well-stocked.
