Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year in veterinary or customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate, professional demeanor under stress.
• Excellent telephone and computer skills.
• Team player who can adapt to change.
• Experience with a Practice Management System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer practice phone and route calls.
• Manage hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and notify staff; monitor wait times.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge.
• Ensure waiting area is clean and stocked; disinfect when needed.
• Confirm appointments by client’s preferred method and adjust as needed.
• Provide backup support to staff for room loading or discharge.
