Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a Nursing Trainer to lead hospital-wide training in veterinary emergency medicine. You will coach, develop programs, and tailor content for diverse learning styles, helping VEGgies grow skills and confidence in critical care settings.

The role requires clinical credentialing, teaching passion, and willingness to travel regionally to onboard new veterinarians and support multiple hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia a plus.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medicine and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to identify training needs and develop curricula.
• Coach on-the-floor and in sessions; mentor and build a learning culture.
• Create and refine training content, including presentations and videos.
• Travel to VEG hospitals in the region to onboard new veterinarians.
