Job summary

VEG is seeking a Nursing Trainer to lead the development of emergency nursing skills across VEG hospitals. You will coach, mentor, and tailor training to diverse learners, helping staff grow confidence and deliver top-tier care in emergency medicine.

You’ll split time between hands-on floor mentoring and strategic development of training content, assessments, and programs. Travel to regional VEG hospitals is required to onboard new veterinarians and support ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Experience in training or education preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Passion for teaching and uplifting others.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs with leadership and teams.
• Assess staff through observation and hands-on immersion.
• Develop and refine training content and tools (presentations, videos, simulations).
• Lead on-the-floor mentoring and strategic staff development.
• Ensure training aligns with VEG culture and emergency standards.
• Travel to VEG hospitals to onboard and support new veterinarians.
