Job summary

Friends Veterinary Specialty & Emergency in Bucks County seeks friendly, organized Client Service Representatives to join our growing team. As the first contact for clients, CSRs help ensure a positive experience for pets and their families in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital.

We welcome both new and experienced CSRs. You’ll work with veterinarians, nurses, and specialists, receive ongoing training, and have opportunities to grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service or veterinary reception preferred.
• References may be required.
• Ability to stay calm and compassionate in emotional situations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn PM software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients warmly, noting the emotional nature of visits.
• Handle incoming calls, triage concerns, and schedule appointments across services.
• Enter and maintain client and patient data in PM and EMR systems.
• Communicate hospital policies, estimates, and discharge instructions clearly.
• Coordinate check-in/check-out with documentation and workflow.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Maintain a calm, supportive demeanor during emergencies.
• Facilitate communication among clients, doctors, and nurses.
• Assist with administrative tasks and document management.
• Keep reception area clean, organized, welcoming.
• Support staff and contribute to positive team culture.
