Job summary

VCA Delaware Valley Animal Hospital in Langhorne, PA is seeking a part-time experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. The CSR handles busy phones, greets clients, and guides their pets to exam rooms, delivering friendly, professional service.

Experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not required; the ideal candidate is personable and capable in a fast-paced setting. Schedule includes days and evenings with alternating Saturdays and no Sundays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and answer phones; guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and outreach to clients.
• Explain and process fees for products and services, including prescriptions.
• Recommend and obtain products and services for clients and pets.
• Provide information about products, services, and basic pet care.
• Maintain medical records, charts, and correspondence.
• Keep the hospital clean and organized inside and outside.

VCA Delaware Valley Animal Hospital in Langhorne, Pa. is seeking a part time experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. Experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred, but not necessary. The qualified candidate should be able to handle busy phones, and enjoy interacting and helping people. The CSR's in our hospital are extremely important members of the support team and impact greatly on the everyday flow of the hospital. Schedule will be a combination of days, evenings, and must be able to work every other Saturday. No Sundays.

Why We Need You
As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
