Job summary

Valley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the friendly first and last contact for clients. You’ll manage appointments, answer calls, and enter patient information while coordinating with the medical team to ensure smooth care for pets and their families.

In this role you’ll greet clients, triage inquiries with empathy, promote services, handle billing and records in our practice management system, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and compassionate client service.
• Prior customer service experience, veterinary/healthcare preferred.
• Familiar with scheduling software and online communications.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails with professional, friendly service.
• Schedule appointments including forward booking.
• Send reminders and confirmations to keep clients informed.
• Re-engage lapsed clients with outreach.
• Greet clients and ensure a positive visit.
• Listen actively and triage inquiries to the medical team.
• Show empathy and maintain calm demeanor.
• Promote current promotions and campaigns.
• Update client and patient records in the practice management system.
• Process billing transactions and payments.
• Maintain organized records of communications.
• Inform clients about services and how to book online.
• Help with reception area and daily operations.
