Job summary

VEG, a leading veterinary emergency company, is seeking a Nursing Trainer to empower our VEGgies through mentoring and development across emergency medicine. You will coach on the floor, guide peer-led sessions, and build educational tools to elevate care and compliance.

You’ll split time between hands-on floor mentoring and strategic program development, ensuring training aligns with VEG culture and emergency standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• AVMA-accredited veterinary technology degree strongly preferred
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of practice
• VTS in ECC, internal medicine, or anesthesia/analgesia a plus and may affect compensation

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach with curiosity to develop skills and confidence in veterinary emergency medicine
• Tailor training to individual learning styles and track progress hospital-wide
• Develop and refine training content (presentations, videos, simulations, assessments) and organize peer training opportunities
