Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Fredericksburg, VA area (Alexandria, Arlington). This field-based role requires living within the territory and traveling 20-30%+, delivering Vet BU strategy and achieving sales KPIs.

Responsibilities include translating product knowledge into opportunities, building clinic partnerships, and delivering data-driven presentations to veterinary staff. Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience (B2B preferred).
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, 20–30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan; grow clinics within geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across BU and organization with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships and meet shared objectives.
• Execute Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional, fluid environments.
