Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Frederick, MD area. This field-based role requires living within the territory and focuses on executing Vet BU strategy, driving clinic opportunities, and achieving sales KPIs.

You will translate product and clinic data into business opportunities, develop territory plans, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers. Occasional overnight travel and conferences are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute territory business plans by understanding clinic needs and growing clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet shared objectives and execute the sales strategy.
• Manage budget and CRM reporting, including expense reports and presentations.
