Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy in the Ft. Worth South / Arlington, TX area.

This field-based role requires living within the territory and entails cross-functional collaboration to grow clinic access and drive vet recommendations. The candidate should bring 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred) and veterinary clinic exposure, with strong communication and presentation skills, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across BU & organization with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives and execute the sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment in fluid, complex settings.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies based on needs.
