Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for Ft. Worth/South Arlington, TX.

This field-based role requires living within the territory and traveling 20–30%+ to clinics, with primary accountability for executing the Vet BU strategy and achieving account-specific sales goals. You will develop territory plans, translate clinic data into opportunities, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and present data-driven insights to veterinary staff

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20–30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs to grow clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff.
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across the BU and organization.
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, team-based environment in fluid settings.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget; complete CRM call reports and expense reports on time.
