VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists is seeking an entry-level Client Service Representative to join our busy team in Warrensville Heights, OH. You will be the friendly face guiding clients and their pets through exams and treatments, handling calls, scheduling, and payments with a compassionate, service-oriented approach.

The role emphasizes listening skills, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple tasks while providing exceptional client service in a veterinary environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of proven past experience helping customers.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Compassion for pets and people—awareness of others' reactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be exposed to hazards associated with pets.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and guiding clients and their pets through the exam and treatment process.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Maintaining hospital cleanliness and ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times.
