Job summary

Casa Grande Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our team. The role involves scheduling, check-in/out, and coordinating appointments for dogs, cats, and farm animals. You will process prescriptions under Vet guidance and maintain patient records with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Avimark is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent work and team collaboration are valued.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts.
• Check in and check out clients.
• Dispense prescription items per Vet instructions.
• Schedule appointments.
• Phone skills to make calls and assist with scheduling.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
• Use Avimark to add documentation and update client records.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and teammates.
• Demonstrate empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion and respect.
