Job summary

Casa Grande Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly receptionist to help manage front-desk duties for a busy veterinary practice. You will check in/out clients, schedule appointments and handle phone calls with care and efficiency, ensuring a positive client experience.

Experience with Avimark is preferred. The role requires organizational skills, calm multitasking, and a compassionate approach to pets and their families in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Avimark is preferred.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Possession of organizational skills.
• Critical thinking – understanding logic and reasoning to identify strengths/weaknesses of solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out clients.
• Dispense prescription items per Vet instructions.
• Schedule appointments.
• Phone skills to make calls and assist with scheduling.
• Use Avimark to add documentation and update client records.
