Job summary

Casa Grande Animal Hospital in Casa Grande, AZ, is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our full-service veterinary team. We value excellent customer service, empathy for clients, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

You will check in and out clients, schedule appointments, dispense prescriptions per Vet instructions, and use Avimark to maintain client records. Shifts are four 10-hour days; we are open Monday through Saturday with varied start times to fit the schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Avimark is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take direction as needed.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Critical thinking to assess problems and solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good judgment under stress.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out clients.
• Dispense prescription items per Vet instructions.
• Schedule appointments.
• Phone calls to assist with scheduling.
• Use Avimark to update client records and documentation.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all client, pet, and teammate interactions.
