VCA Brookline Animal is seeking an experienced client service representative to join our six-doctor, fast-paced general medicine practice in Brookline, MA. We are committed to high quality veterinary medicine, patient care and outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter with a friendly demeanor toward animals and people, strong multi-tasking ability, excellent communication, and a team player who can handle scheduling, fees, and medical record tasks in a busy

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the veterinary field.
• Excellent knowledge of veterinary client service.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills, with ability to use veterinary software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Ability to integrate new information into problem-solving.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work around pets and related hazards.
• Compassion for pets and people.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and outreach to prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees and process payments.
• Answer questions about products and services and educate clients on animal care.
• Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Triaging phone calls and entering vaccine information.
