Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to be the friendly face of the practice, greet visitors, answer phones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.

You will handle scheduling, confirm appointments, process payments, discuss fees, recommend products, educate clients on pet care, and help maintain medical records and a clean facility while upholding our commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance and ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times.
