Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive patient flow and enhance client experiences. You will coordinate bookings, educate clients on preventive care, and support the veterinary team to deliver efficient, friendly service within a busy hospital setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to promote wellness plans while maintaining accurate records and smooth front-desk operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Medical background with medical terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, encouraging hospital visits and educating clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation, entering pet information, and ensuring prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing prescription items, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
