Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative for a fast-paced veterinary setting. Prior CSR experience is preferred, with a focus on patient and client interactions and accurate data entry into the EMR.

The position requires a calm demeanor, strong communication, and proficiency with computers. The hospital operates 24/7 with weekend and holiday coverage rotating among CSRs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
• Proficient with computers.
• Experience in customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Emotional intelligence, self and social awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients as they enter the hospital.
• Answer multi-line telephone.
• Check patients in as they arrive.
• Notify technicians when patients have arrived.
• Secure all documents prior to the arrival of patients for scheduled appointments.
• Scan and save documents according to protocols.
• Input patient and client information correctly into the EMR.
• Other duties as assigned.
