AmeriVet is seeking a dedicated CSR to support walk-in emergency care, manage a multi-line phone system, and deliver exceptional client service. You will handle admissions, payments, and accurate record-keeping while maintaining composure during emergencies and supporting a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes empathy, strong communication, and technical accuracy. Vet terminology knowledge and EMR experience are preferred, with a focus on documentation and patient care.

Qualifications

• Customer service and clinical support in walk-in emergency setting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands.
• Strong communication and empathy under pressure.
• Proficient with computer systems and record-keeping.
• Attention to detail in client/pet documentation and payments.
• Experience with veterinary EMR systems preferred (Cornerstone, ezyVet).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow and provide excellent client care in a walk-in ER.
• Operate a multi-line phone system and greet clients professionally.
• Deliver compassionate care and handle difficult client interactions calmly.
• Process payments and maintain accurate client/pet records; manage documentation.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors and support team members.
