Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Austin practice. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling check-ins, phones, and guiding pets and clients to exam rooms.

Knowledge of veterinary terms and hospital flow is preferred. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand hospital operations and veterinary terminology.
• Experience with healthcare or veterinary settings preferred.
• Accurate data entry and financial policy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in clients.
• Answer telephones and transfer calls.
• Escort clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Manage medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Discuss payment options and process payments.
• Maintain a neat and clean lobby.
