Job summary

MedVet is seeking a diligent Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the first point of contact for clients. You will greet clients, manage data, discuss payments, and guide pets to exam rooms, maintaining a compassionate, professional demeanor in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

Strong communication, multitasking, and data-entry skills are essential. Prior veterinary experience is a plus; weekend/evening hours may be required as part of our schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette.
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and autonomously.
• Some flexibility with work hours and overtime when necessary.
• General computer competency including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous experience in veterinary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in clients.
• Answer telephones and transfer calls.
• Escort clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Manage medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Discuss payment options and process payments.
• Maintain a neat and clean lobby.
