Job summary

AmeriVet's Kingdom Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative to serve as the first and last point of contact, handling appointments, calls, patient data, and client communications to ensure a smooth visit.

You will support the medical team, manage billing and records in our practice management system, promote services and promotions, and help create a welcoming environment for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to provide compassionate, client-focused service.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online communication platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, even during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails promptly with professional, friendly service and schedule appointments based on client needs and veterinarian availability.
• Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit; gather medical information with active listening and triage inquiries.
• Update client/patient records in the practice management system with accuracy; process billing transactions including credit cards, digital payments, financing, and insurance claims.
• Provide clients with accurate post-visit instructions and assist with daily practice operations; inform clients about services and how to book appointments online or shop for pet products.
