Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to help drive client and pet flow, support a productive veterinary team, and ensure welcoming, efficient service. The role emphasizes communicating wellness needs, educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, and assisting with client onboarding and billing processes.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least 18 years old, and prior customer service experience; a medical background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience preferred with customer service.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets for superior care.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining a productive hospital workflow.
• Provide professional, efficient service; educate clients about pet health and wellness plans.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet data entry; ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, and prescriptions; schedule follow-ups.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
