Job summary

United Veterinary Care is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the friendly first contact for clients visiting our East Louisville Animal Hospital in Louisville, KY. This role handles phone and in-person interactions, scheduling, payments, and front desk duties.

You will work with a caring team to educate clients about wellness plans and products, maintain a tidy lobby, and support veterinarians with smooth client flow.

Qualifications

• One year of veterinary practice experience preferred.
• Minimum two years’ customer service experience required.
• Proficiency with computers and basic math for deposits and payments.
• Excellent communication with clients and team members.
• Experience with front desk equipment and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in person and over the phone.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, maintain records, provide estimates and invoices.
• Respond with compassion in stressful situations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked lobby and front desk area.
• Educate clients on wellness plans, food, and products sold in waiting room.
• Perform opening/closing, end-of-day reports, and deposits.
• Data entry: records, client questionnaires, referrals.
• Distribute mail.
• Send referral letters and lab results to veterinarians.
• Admit patients, weighing and updating information.
