Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service (MVSES) in Louisville, KY is seeking a friendly Client Care Specialist to welcome clients and pets, assist with registration, and coordinate information between families and the clinical team.

You will handle front desk tasks, phone triage, appointment coordination, billing questions, and maintain accurate electronic records while maintaining a calm, empathetic presence during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in veterinary practice or busy medical setting preferred.
• Strong customer-service and professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets, assist with registration and forms.
• Answer a multi-line phone system, gather information, and route calls.
• Coordinate arrivals, appointments, and patient flow with the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and handle deposits/payments.
• Support check-in/check-out and provide clear, empathetic communication.
