Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners in New York is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the first and last point of contact for clients, scheduling appointments, answering calls, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and our medical team.

In this fast-paced role, you'll update client records, process payments and insurance claims, promote services, and guide clients to online booking and our pet store, contributing to a welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to provide compassionate, client-focused service.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare.
• Basic proficiency with scheduling software and online communication platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask during busy periods.
• Saturday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails promptly with professional, friendly service.
• Schedule appointments based on client needs and veterinarian availability.
• Use technology to send reminders and follow-up messages to keep clients informed.
• Greet clients and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Process billing transactions and assist with online store inquiries.
• Support daily practice operations as needed.
