Southern California Veterinary Hospital in Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our multi-doctor, full-service hospital. You will welcome clients, handle phones, schedule appointments, review treatment plans, and assist with pharmacy and records.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication, and comfort with Avimark; Saturdays are required and benefits include comprehensive coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• A positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
• High level of computer proficiency.
• Outstanding telephone etiquette.
• Experience with Avimark software and international health certificates is a plus.
• Willingness to work Saturdays as part of a flexible weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer multiple phone lines and provide exceptional customer service.
• Schedule appointments and help manage daily patient flow.
• Review treatment plans with clients and answer general questions.
• Process payments and maintain accurate client records.
• Support pharmacy operations and prescription fulfillment.
• Assist veterinarians and hospital staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Handle confidential medical records with accuracy and professionalism.
