UW Veterinary Care (UWVC) Hospital is seeking a compassionate client services professional to join our busy, high-energy team. You’ll be the primary voice and face for our specialty service areas, delivering empathetic, clear communication to pet parents and referring veterinarians, while helping keep the hospital running smoothly.

The role includes managing multi-department calendars, scheduling complex appointments, handling admissions and records, and coordinating with clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of high-volume customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with empathy.
• Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
• Experience operating standard office equipment.
• Able to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for hospital calls and triage patient needs.
• Schedule appointments, manage calendars, book referrals, and coordinate tests.
• Assist with patient admissions and maintain electronic and paper medical records.
• Coordinate multi-channel communications to keep staff and clients connected.
• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical work unit personnel.
