Job summary

Stonecreek Animal Hospital in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to manage the front desk, support clients and patients, and maintain accurate records. You will handle scheduling, education on annual care, and coordination with the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Veterinary industry experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of work experience in customer service.
• Proficient with MS Office software; familiarity with veterinary practice management software preferred
• Ability to multi-task while managing high call volumes
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail
• Process end-of-day cash calculation
• Comfortable around all companion animals

Responsibilities

• Greet clients enthusiastically and manage a multi-line phone system.
• Maintain accurate patient records using paperless software and follow hospital policies.
• Gather client and patient history; educate clients on annual care.
• Schedule appointments, confirm daily procedures/surgeries, and explain costs in a positive manner.
• Handle incoming emails, process online pharmacy orders, and provide timely responses.
• Ensure client and patient comfort, communicate wait times, and maintain professional service.
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and the practice manager to support high-quality care.
• Perform housekeeping and clean-up duties to keep all areas clean and stocked.
• Coordinate with the Practice Manager on client issues, repairs, and equipment needs.
