The role aligns with Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Specialist positions, requiring strong customer service, organization, and knowledge of scheduling within veterinary settings. Local hospital culture emphasizes pet care and client convenience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience/education.
• Excellent customer service skills, courteous and prompt.
• 1 year of CSR experience in veterinary field; vaccine/surgery knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties.
