PetVet Care Centers’ Pet Doctor in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team. You will perform a range of administrative and customer service tasks, supporting the hospital’s operations in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

The role aligns with Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Specialist positions, requiring strong customer service, organization, and knowledge of scheduling within veterinary settings. Local hospital culture emphasizes pet care and client convenience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience/education.
• Excellent customer service skills, courteous and prompt.
• 1 year of CSR experience in veterinary field; vaccine/surgery knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties.

Position Overview

Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist.

Qualifications (Required)

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
• Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance
• 1 years prior experience as CSR in veterinary field
  PREFERRED : Vaccine, booster, surgery knowledge that will assist in scheduling accurately

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of vaccines, booster schedules, and surgical procedures that will assist in scheduling accurately

Schedule

• Monday to Friday; 8 hour shifts.
• Possibly open Saturdays in future and will need to be open for that.
• Shifts range from 7:45AM-4PM or 10AM-6PM, some 10 hour shifts would be 8AM-6PM as well

Pay Range: $16.50 — $19.50 USD
