Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is seeking a Benefits Services Manager to lead a team of service officers delivering DoD and VBA benefits to veterans. The role includes leadership, training, budgeting, and collaboration with VA and community partners.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage an active caseload, and drive timely, accurate benefits submissions while mentoring staff and building relationships with

Qualifications

• Five years of veterans benefits advocacy experience as a VA accredited service officer.
• Three years of leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a service officer team of local and remote staff to identify veterans benefits and assist/submit claims.
• Serve as liaison between VA/DoD and wounded service members for benefits claims.
• Provide performance feedback and staff development.
• Represent WWP in public presentations and educate veterans about benefits.
• Manage budget and ensure accurate records.
