Job summary

Oregon Coast Community Action in Coos Bay, Oregon, is seeking a SSVF Stabilization Specialist to support the Essential Services team. You will conduct assessments, develop action plans, coordinate housing options, liaise with landlords and agencies, and provide case management to help veterans and families achieve stable housing.

This role reports to the SSVF Program Coordinator and requires a high school diploma, strong administrative skills, and experience in service systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or post-secondary education encouraged.
• Experience in social services or crisis intervention preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client interviews to gather eligibility documents and stabilization needs.
• Provide Stabilization Services including data verification, housing assessments, and budgeting.
• Coordinate referrals and services with partner agencies.
• Develop and maintain detailed client files and notes in Service Point.
• Attend monthly case management meetings and required trainings.
• Interact with community partners to enhance ORCCA programs.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
