Job summary

Access is seeking a Peer Support – SSVF Shallow Subsidy in Medford, OR, to work directly with Veterans and their families. The role involves assisting participants navigate housing resources, providing support, and ensuring adherence to goals related to housing stability.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of direct client contact and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and groups from varying backgrounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support operations of the Medford Severe Weather Shelter.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assist participants.
• Conduct regular mentoring sessions to encourage housing stability.
• Make referrals to appropriate community resources.
