Job summary

New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) in Boston seeks a Stabilization Case Manager for the SSVF program. You will manage outreach, intake, and assessment, coordinate rapid resolution, and support housing stabilization for veteran families at risk of homelessness.

You will build landlord relationships, guide participants through housing plans, and connect them with VA benefits, legal services, and community resources to achieve rapid housing and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services with 1–3 years of experience.
• Experience with case management and housing placements.
• Ability to travel in the greater Boston area.
• Excellent communication and data entry skills.
• Understanding of Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly enroll SSVF participants through coordinated outreach with the SSVF team and partners.
• Connect Veterans to community resources and stabilization services to resolve housing crises.
• Assist with time-sensitive SSVF funds and services with leadership input.
• Maintain documentation per SSVF Program Guide and data entry practices.
• Collaborate with NECHV, VA-HUD/VASH, and local agencies for housing opportunities.
