Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest seeks a Veteran Career Services Navigator to provide individualized employment-focused case management for veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness under HVRP in Spokane, WA.

You will assist with goal setting, job readiness, employer engagement, OJT, and placement, while ensuring compliance, successful outcomes, and collaboration with WorkSource partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years related experience &/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and recruitment for HVRP.
• Complete intake, eligibility screening, and enrollment for eligible veterans.
• Serve as an ambassador of HVRP and Goodwill with veterans and partners.
• Coordinate services with WorkSource and other employment partners.
• Develop Individual Employment Plans based on participants' goals and needs.
• Provide employment-focused case management, career counseling, and job-readiness support.
• Identify and address barriers to employment and coordinate referrals.
• Connect participants with housing, health care, transportation, and other resources.
• Provide resume development, interviewing, and job-search support.
• Coordinate job-driven training and on-the-job opportunities.
• Build relationships with employers to match participants to roles.
• Provide job placement, retention, and post-exit follow-up services.
• Verify wages, hours, training completion, and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case files and data entry in systems.
• Monitor progress toward employment and retention goals.
• Participate in resource fairs and outreach events.
