Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc in Tukwila, WA, is seeking a Lead Employment Specialist for the Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP). The role oversees daily delivery of services, supervises office staff, and ensures compliance with VETS policies and grant goals to help homeless veterans secure employment.

You will conduct assessments, develop employment plans, train on resumes and interview skills, and cultivate relationships with local employers.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services to veterans or individuals facing housing instability is preferred.
• Leadership experience in employment services or related field is required.
• Driving is required and a valid license is necessary.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily delivery of HVRP services and supervise office staff.
• Ensure compliance with DOL VETS policies and grant requirements.
• Develop strong relationships with employers to increase veteran hiring.
• Conduct case management, assessments, and individualized employment plans.
• Train clients on resumes, job search strategies, and interview skills.
• Coordinate outreach activities and community collaborations.
