Job summary

A participating Kia dealership in Houston, TX, is seeking Military Veterans to join their Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program. This full-time role offers hands-on training and development as you diagnose and repair Kia vehicles. Successful candidates must have mechanical experience, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced service environment. The program is GI Bill approved and provides support for eligible Veterans, including a Monthly Housing Allowance during training.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
