Job summary
A structured apprenticeship program for Military Veterans is seeking candidates for a full-time Automotive Service Technician position. Participants will gain hands-on experience while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship, obtaining Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, performing inspections, and documenting repairs. Ideal candidates have mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a background in technical fields. Veterans will receive a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill® during the apprenticeship.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and electrical systems.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia diagnostic procedures.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
Mechanical experience
