Job summary

A participating Kia dealership in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician position. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), offering full-time employment while gaining hands-on experience and completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, with a focus on technical skills. Eligible Veterans may also receive a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill® during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
