A Veteran Technician Apprenticeship Program offers skilled military Veterans an opportunity to become a Kia Certified Service Technician. Participants will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles while receiving comprehensive training and access to necessary tools and equipment. The program is designed specifically for Veterans, providing pathways to certification and eligibility for a GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance. Successful candidates will communicate effectively within the shop environment, ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from military service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field is required.
• Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Complete repair and warranty request orders.
• Test drive vehicles and analyze components using diagnostic strategies.
• Communicate effectively with shop foreman to enhance customer experience.
